Blake Gardens
There will be free shows, family activities, face painting, food stalls, craft stalls, ice creams, medieval games, archery, games, craft stalls, hula hooping, circus workshops and live music with bands on the band stand. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Blake Museum
Bridgwater’s historical museum is open with exhibitions of the Battle of Sedgemoor and Monmouth Rebellion. The Sedgemoor Exhibition will be open all day. Enjoy the cafe and shop with tea, coffees and ice cream. Learn more about the history of the town and the fascinating history and archaeology of the area.
Blake Statue / Fore St
Sedgemoor FM will be in Fore St by the Blake Statue and there will be some fabulous street theatre, music, shows and festival stalls.

Angel Place
Visit Angel place and watch the stunning aerialists performing an aerial acrobatic show and take part in the aerial workshops. Listen to jazz and street bands with Bridgwater’s Jazzical Swing Band and the Big Noise Street Band and enjoy street theatre visiting the centre throughout the day.

Bridgwater Library
A celebration of the rich and diverse cultures, nationalities and languages in our area.
You will be able come into the library and ‘borrow’ a person from some our many cultures to chat with. Learn a few simple phrases in another language or hear stories of how they came to live in Bridgwater. Our ‘Human Books’ will be sharing their music, recipes and experiences and answering your questions about their lives.

Opera for All Garsington Opera will be showing their filmed performance of Handel’s SEMELE. The Bridgwater Voices Community Choir, local groups and singers will be opening the opera screened production with a chorus from Handel’s Opera SEMELE.
Local food and refreshments will be available all day, face painting and family arts activities for the children. Come and enjoy this performance of SEMELE, Handel’s beautiful touching and humorous love story.

Take a walk across the bridge and discover New Rd, a fabulous festival area. Come and enjoy music, activities and a great festival atmosphere. Keep an eye out for some of our festival walkabouts including Hotch Potch stilts on the High Seas, Bella the beautiful dragon fly and music by local musicians, have a go in the lego station and sample some fabulous traditional Portuguese food by Cafe Aveirense and delicious Greek food from the Acropolis

West Quay
The Quayside is the place to be and enjoy cafes, bar and music and linger a while sampling sounds and tastes in a maritime setting.

In West Quay there will be street theatre, Somerset Film will present a nautical themed Victorian animation workshop and you can perform in their live action animation* at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm

Emerge
‘Displaced by Livi Atkins: A non-verbal promenade performance about migration; questioning our understanding of human connection. Meet at the entrance to Blake Garden by the Library for the two performances at 2pm and 4pm.

Unity House will be open with Arts Exhibitions and is located on Dampiet St next to Blake Gardens.
