Quayside ‘After Party’ to feature 3 DJs

The Quayside Festival hits town on Saturday 29th July and will feature street entertainment, live music and all sorts of things from Blakes Gardens to West Quay to the Angel Place Shopping Centre and from Kings Square down to New road. The day is a fun packed family orientated affair and you can find what’s on here.  However, by the evening the Bridgwater Art Centre will be opening it’s doors to an ‘After Party’ which will feature 3 DJs and run from 6 to midnight.

Each DJ will play 2 hours each and the event will be free for people to drop in and out of.

“Global Jukebox” .

Radio DJ Steve Coram,will be playing Classic Blues, Break Beats ,Easy  ,Modern Jazz,Jump Jive ,Latin ,Reggae ,Ska ,Soul , and World Music!” and will be on from 8-10pm

 

 

 

“The Red Shadow Jamaican Sound System”

Dave Chapple will be playing old-style Ska, Mento and Rhythm & Blues and will start and finish the show with sets at 6pm and 11pm

 

 

 

 

“The Lone Arranger” 

Rod Jones will  be playing an eclectic mix of soul, pop, reggae and global and will be on from 7-8pm and 10-11pm.

 

 

The Art Centre bar and garden will be open so people can drop in and out as they see fit.
